Animal Control

The EFHOA Covenants have specific requirements for pet and livestock ownerhsip in the development. Prince William County provides Animal Control Officer Services. Note: Animal Control Officers provide services for nuisances only under specific circumstances outlined on the site under Nuisance Wildlife. The site also provides recommendations on how to make your property and home more critter safe Critter Control.

Virginia Department of Environmental Health Division of On-site Sewage & Water Services 

Homeowners are responsible for septic and well systems including maintaining the systems in accordance with builder, installer and county requirements. This commonwealth and county regulate the type, maintenance and inspection requirements. This includes the pump out requirements. The information on the local office is provide to the right.

In addition to the EFHOA Architecture Review Requirements required by the covenants, county permits may be required for additions or changes to your home or lot. The Building Development Division under the Department of Development Services handles permitting requirements. The “Do I Need a Permit” page has information on activities requiring a permit.
